 Agriculture
We reside on 72 acres of farmland. In the past, the land was used
to cultivate sugar peas. This past season nearly all types
of common garden vegetables were grown, including 8 varieties of
tomatoes, peppers, squash, corn etc. These are sold on
site.

 Produce Sales
At Sunny Acres, what we grow in the garden is sold to the public.
We sell our produce on site, and are a well known location in the
community to obtain fresh, organic, locally grown produce. We
partner with some local growers to also add for sale fresh fruit as
well.

 Wine Barrels
Sunny Acres finds, purchases, and processes oak wine barrels. We sell
half and whole barrels, as well as various ornamental barrels. Please
see the "What's for sale" page.

 Planted Oak Barrels
For those who want to buy barrels already planted with flowers, we
offer this as well. We set up the barrels and tend to them until
they are sold.

 Fireplace Wood
Sunny Acres is a well known location in San Luis Obispo for people to
pick up fireplace wood - whether to take home to the fireplace or to
the beach. We frequently obtain large quantities of cut wood. We age
and split the wood and place it for sale. Pricing is located on the

 Seasonal Sales
The entrepreneurial spirit of Sunny Acres comes out in many ways.
For the past several years we have successfully sold pumpkins and
Christmas trees. The earnings go to support Sunny
Acres. This year and going forward, the pumpkins we sell
will be grown on site. We also plan for buyers to have the option
of picking out their own pumpkin.

 Automobile Mechanics and Restoration
There is considerable expertise at Sunny Acres with respect to
auto and diesel mechanics. Often there is restoration work as well. There are always projects available, as
are tools and training. Some experience is desirable. Most
important, though, is a thorough commitment to learn.

 Internet Sales
As we work, we invariably find items and ideas that are suited for
Internet sales. Sunny Acres has an established ebay and Craig’s
List accounts, with the highest ratings. Associates are
encouraged to collaborate together, create opportunities, and to take
advantage of this important medium.
